We also heard about Crisis Change Management and Risk from Dr Brian Price – Researcher at Aston University, previously Director at Ricardo for Driveline and Transmission, former Chief Engineer at Harley Davidson and former Director at Cosworth Engineering. 

 

Dr Aristides Matopoulos – Associate Professor discussed if Covid-19 is a wakeup call for supply chains? Planning for next week, next month and next year. Aris formally worked with Williams Advanced Engineering to develop a tool to assess suppliers’ ability to upscale production in order to raise the competitiveness of suppliers in the UK. 

 

We also heard from both Paul Gibbons from Huntingdon District Council and Chris George from The Greater Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority about all things to help businesses from grants to support programmes.
